The story of Golu

Golu — the festive display of dolls across odd-numbered steps — has been a Navaratri tradition in South Indian homes for centuries. Each figure tells a story: Dasavatharam sets, Chettiar couples, village scenes and divine processions.

Our dolls are shaped in traditional moulds, sun-dried, then hand-painted in natural pigments with gold detailing — the same method our artisan families have used for four generations.
